On a warm July day, Nora and Austin got engaged on the shores of Peak’s Island in Maine. After the excitement of the engagement, they decided to entrust our team at Weddings by Kristy to coordinate their wedding day.
They pictured a wedding with breathtaking outdoor backdrops and a gorgeous, woodsy mansion in Virginia. That’s when they found Airlie in Warrenton, VA. It was the ideal venue to bring the moody, fall vibes they wanted for their October wedding.

Nora and Austin held their ceremony in the beautiful garden courtyard and then led guests to the adjacent, open greenspace. With beautiful flowers enclosing the area, it was perfect for family and friends to connect over drinks.
Airlie’s covered reception pavilion with a wraparound porch made for an intimate dinner and dancing spot that maintained the garden feel thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows.
Dancing in a Dream
Nora and Austin’s parent dances were a show-stopper. Picture this: Nora and her dad and Austin and his mom, floating across the dance floor with an airy fog swirling around them. It was incredibly touching and magical. The dream-like dance floor was the icing on top of a memorable wedding day.
