Photos by Rachel Smith Photography

Amanda and Shiloh’s Baltimore Museum of Industry wedding was a joyful, modern celebration filled with thoughtful details, heartfelt moments, and unexpected fun (including alpacas!). From their waterfront ceremony to dancing under museum steam engines, this day was as unforgettable as their love story.

Getting Ready at the Courtyard Baltimore Downtown

Amanda got ready with her family at the Courtyard Baltimore Downtown/McHenry Row, where hair and makeup by Down the Aisle in Style helped her feel calm and radiant. Meanwhile, Shiloh prepped nearby before the couple reunited for their first look at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

First Look & Wedding Portraits at the BMI

Rachel Smith Photography captured Amanda and Shiloh’s first look on the museum’s grounds—an emotional and private moment before the bustle of the day. They took full advantage of the industrial backdrops and waterfront views for stunning wedding portraits.

Waterfront Wedding Ceremony at the Baltimore Museum of Industry

With the harbor as their backdrop, Amanda and Shiloh said their vows beneath a chuppah held by Shiloh’s brothers. A harpist (Shiloh’s niece!) played during the ceremony, and the couple shared their own vows before Shiloh broke the glass to cheers from their guests.

Zeffert and Gold catered the buffet meal, which included a Shiloh family recipe.

Patisserie Poupon crafted the cake, and we topped it off with the couple’s dog figurine.

After toasts and parent dances, the cake cutting signaled it was time to dance. Dance Masters Entertainment kicked off the dance floor and photo booth to keep guests having fun the rest of the evening.

And later, guests were surprised with a dress change from Amanda! The short dress and custom embroidered sneakers made for a perfect dancing outfit.

A Bubble Grand Exit

The night ended with a grand bubble exit and a floral donation through Petals for Hope. Amanda and Shiloh’s wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry was a beautiful reflection of their values—personal, joyful, and community-minded.

Kristy Silva, Wedding Planner

Meet Kristy

Hey there! I grew up in the dry heat of Phoenix, AZ but now live in my favorite swamp, Washington D.C. My dream job? Owning a cat cafe. Just kidding (kind of). I’ve wanted to be a wedding planner for as long as I can remember. But not just any planner. The cis-heteronormativity of the wedding industry kind of gives me the ‘ick,’ so I’ve built a team to help all couples celebrate their love in a way that feels good to them. Not how society says ‘this is what a wedding should look like.
