It’s my birthday 🎉 And it’s a “big one,” as they say, because today I turn 30.

And I’m feeling particularly grateful today.

Grateful to have survived another year (and decade?!) around the sun.

Grateful for my stable life filled with people who love me.

Grateful for my WBK team who have allowed me to grow and improve my business without burning out.

Grateful to get to wake up everyday and do something that I absolutely LOVE. And boy do I love my job.

Some people think the wedding industry is vapid or shallow because weddings are such a luxury. But I truly believe the work I do improves lives. It helps people. A wedding is only one day but that’s what life is made of. And the fact that I can make each day leading up to that “one day,” and the day itself, more joyful? What a privilege. It really nourishes my soul ❤️

So thank you to every couple who has trusted me with their wedding planning journey! I’m forever grateful.

And with that, I’m enjoying a day off today to treat myself to some birthday fun and relaxation ✌️
